How to Build Real World Strength

Have you ever heard the phrase “Old Man Strength”? What it is referring to is the strength you get from the real world, from years of working and lifting heavy, awkward objects. Like a brown sheep in this instance.

Strength training in the gym will make you stronger, but it doesn’t always directly translate over to real world activists. Why?

In the real world objects are not equally distributed and designed for your ease of lifting. No, unfortunately, real-world objects, like large brown boxes where you have to try and bear hug the thing or kids that move around when you try and pick them up, don’t move as nicely as a dumbbell or barbell.
