Adductor Side Plank

Are you bored with the same old humdrum of a Side Plank? You feel you have mastered it and have gotten all it has to offer out of it? Well, you haven’t but if you are looking to spice up your Side Plank nightlife a little, trying out the Adductor Side Plank.

What I like about the Adductor Side Plank is it is one more challenging by forcing you to engage the bottom hips glute abductors while working your top legs adductors which we seldom used for contracting in most workout plans.

The Exercise 

Coaching Cues 

  • Press top leg into the box
  • Press bottom leg into the ground
  • Keep ribs aligned with the top of hips

Sets/Reps: 3-4×5-8 breaths each side
