I have been off track for the last few months, and what I mean by a few months is five months, let’s round-up and call it six months.


Six months I have not done an organized workout; I have lost my love for the grind. I have only done a run or two a week over this time. As far as nutrition, I have eaten not bad but not great. As for writing, my blog can attest to that. I have stopped writing consistently and need to get back to it.


Over the next 30 days, I will write a post a day about my journey back to fitness and writing. I am doing this for two reasons.

1) To hold myself accountable.
2) To help you get back on track as well

Video One: Setting Goals and a Baseline

Goals:

  • Run 1.5 miles with a 9 minute pace
  • 20 Chin Ups
  • Increase 1 Arm Overhead Press
  • Be active very day for at least 30 minutes
  • Write everyday
  • Food Log everyday

Deadline: 30 days from now

Baseline:

  • Run: 1.51 miles in 14:49 with 9’49” pace
  • Chin Ups 10 reps
  • 1 Arm OH Press 55×3
