Mobility, Stability, and Strength these are the qualities that will lead to success in staying healthy for a long life full of activity.
When you lose one quality it will affect the others; if you have too much of one and not enough of the other attributes, then you could have problems.
Here are two quick test to see if you have the mobility, stability, and strength for real-life activities.
Test For Real Life Mobility, Stability, and Strength
Getting Up Off The Ground
Getting up and down sounds simple but how often do you do it in a day?
Try it.
Was it easy?
Did you find you feeling not strong enough or mobile enough to get up as quickly as you would like?
The single leg stance test is a great way to look at your strength and mobility in a real-life situation.
Single Leg Balance
This test will look at your ability to stabilize on one leg while doing something else, looking at your stability and mobility.
If you can’t stand on one leg comfortably, then you may have problems walking, running, and catching yourself when you trip.
Give them a try and tell me what you find.
