The Cool Down: Why You Need It and How to Do It

The cool down is an often forgotten part of the whole workout routine. It is also  somewhat misunderstood, for when I searched the term “cool down” all I got was pictures of people doing seated hamstring stretches.

Needless to say, a cool down is much more than just stretching. Yes, stretching can be a part of it but you need to incorporate drill that will bring the body back to a normal relaxed state.
