The Warm Up: The Why and How, You Know The When

The pre workout warm us is an essential part to a training program, but most feel that taking the time to warm up is a waste of their time. When you go to a gym there are three classes of pre workout warm ups you will most likely see.

The Classic Warm Up 

Ok, how this works is you walk into the gym, you go to the locker room, talk to some people, and then proce

ed to workout. Ya, so the classic warm up is not a warm up at all.

The Bro Warm Up

Have you ever been in the gym and saw some guy grab two 5 pound weights and just flail his arms all about and then proceed to the bench or the leg press. If you have seen this then you have just been witness to a bro warm up. To contrary belief this is not a warm up… I am not sure what it is but it looks and feels wrong all over.

The Old School Warm Up

You hope on a peace of cardio equipment for 5 or 10 minutes till you start to sweat. Compared to the other two warm ups this one looks really good.
