Getting results is relatively easy; well, at least the steps are easy.
To lose weight, you need to hit these four things
- Eat fewer calories than you burn for calories
- Be active every day (6K plus steps)
- Workout to maintain muscle
- Eat enough protein not to lose muscle
You could even simplify that one step further and follow step one and still get weight loss results.
I will venture to guess that many of you already know that. I am not telling you anything groundbreaking. So the question then becomes, why is it so hard to get the results you want? When the formula for getting the results is straightforward (eat less + move more = weight loss).
It turns out there are a lot of other factors that get in the way of use being able to accomplish this; here are a few:
- Daily routines/habits
- lack of awareness
- stress
- work and home environment
- lack of sleep
- impatience with the process
- history and negative beliefs
The list could go on and on. So how do you start getting results when it has been hard to in the past? The answer is you need to be held accountable to your goals. We fail to hit our goals not because we don’t want to hit them; we let other stuff take priority over them. One of the best ways to prevent that from happening is by having someone that checks in with you about your goals and progress.
Steps You Can Take
I offer a high-level daily accountability program where I check in with you once a day to make sure you stay on track with your goals.
