It is easy to overthink being active and living a healthy lifestyle.
Living health doesn’t consist of just stretching or just lifting weight. Instead, a healthy lifestyle consists of Strenght, Cardiovascular health, daily activity, and recovery/mobility work; you need them all.
I like to say be wary of the carpenter that only knows how to use a hammer.
If your coach says strength training is all you need to be healthy, or the yoga teacher says all you need is yoga. Be wary of them.
It would be best if you had some time for all of them to give yourself the best chance at living a life free from pain and restrictions.
